The Fourth edition of Pharma Summit 2006, CII’s flagship International Conference for the Indian Pharmaceutical Industry was held on 14 September 2006 in Mumbai. The Summit provided a global perspective on key issues relevant to Indian Pharmaceutical Industry sector, with a special focus on competing globally.

The Summit was inaugurated by Dr M Venkateswarlu, Drugs Controller General, Government of India who later released “CII-KPMG Study on “India Pharma Inc. – Competing Globally”. The Summit was addressed by international speakers and a galaxy of eminent professionals from the
Indian Pharmaceutical Industry. Over 100 CMDs, MDs & CEOs alongwith 400 cross functional professionals from the Pharmaceutical Industry participated at the Summit and after active deliberations formulated some actionable points for the Pharmaceutical Industry to compete globally.
